The University has set up a College Development Council
(CDC) during 1985-86, with financial assistance from the UGC. Its
main aim is to draw plans to effectively execute and coordinate
the developmental activities of the affiliated colleges and institutions.
It strives to promote well structured and well planned undergraduate
and postgraduate programmes in the colleges. It also plays a constructive
role in developing the infrastructural facilities in the colleges
by taking up their proposals to the UGC. It organises periodical
meetings of the Principals of the Colleges to give necessary solutions.
